So, like I said in my blogpost talking about the the Kodachrome, i was inspired by the look and feel of the images produced from the analog film. I was trying to simulate the same look using Lightroom, and I found the result pretty pleasing. However, I’m shooting Fuji X cameras, and the Classic Chrome was an attempt from Fuji to replicate the look of the Kodachrome film. The only problem with the Classic Chrome simulation, like all other film simulations with the Fuji X cameras, is that you have to shoot in jpeg.

Why not use the profiles in Lightroom?

You can find all the Fuji film simulations in Lightroom, but it looks a little different than applying the color profiles in the camera.
