Throughout the 2026 season I will be covering a selection of regattas, classic yacht gatherings and maritime festivals across Scandinavia.
Below is an overview of the events currently planned.

Seil Isegran 2026
Seil Isegran is an annual regatta held during the Pentecost weekend for traditional and classic sailing vessels. The event takes place at historic Isegran in Fredrikstad, with racing conducted on the waters of Lera outside Kråkerøy.
Asker trebåtfestival
Asker Trebåtfestival is a gathering dedicated to classic and traditional wooden boats, bringing together owners, craftsmen and maritime enthusiasts in a setting shaped by history and seamanship.
Nordisk Skutetreff (DK)
Nordisk Skutetreff is a Nordic gathering of traditional sailing vessels, bringing together historic ships and classic craft from across Scandinavia. The 2026 meeting in Aarhus continues a long-standing maritime tradition centred on seamanship, preservation and shared heritage.
Colin Archer Havnefestival
Colin Archer Havnefestival in Larvik is a celebration of the maritime heritage connected to the renowned naval architect Colin Archer and the seafaring tradition of the Norwegian coast.
Risør trebåtfestival
Risør Trebåtfestival is one of Scandinavia’s most established gatherings for classic and traditional wooden boats. Set in the sheltered harbour of Risør, the festival brings together a wide range of vessels — from smaller coastal craft to larger classic yachts — in a town long associated with wooden boatbuilding.
